Congress and Bush – Slow Acting and Dumb

So Bush called Congress slow, so congress (House Speak Pelosi) called bush a Failure. This is all well and good and for the most part I agree with both of them! Bush is obviously a failure, I don’t think we need to cover that point, but what we do need to cover is how the Democratic congress promised us SO much and delivered on none of it. I seem to remember Pelosi running on a campaign of getting rid of all special interest groups – how did that fall through the cracks?! I get annoyed at this name calling because it just points out how little our government does because they are too worried about being on the press shows to protect their public image for the next term. If the President and Congress were more worried about passing legislation and less about themselves we might actually have a functioning government right now.
