CONCORD, N.C. – They are the two guys that most around Northeast racing would agree are the best two Modified drivers without full-time Whelen Modified Tour rides.
Friday at Concord Speedway in Concord, N.C. they both showed that being away from the Tour hasn’t slowed them at all when it comes to getting around a racetrack quickly.
Chuck Hossfeld of Lockport, N.Y. and Matt Hirschman of Northampton, Pa. paced the field in time trials in preparation for Saturday’s 125-lap North-South Shootout Tour Type Modified feature.
