I totaly agree with the top 3. Halloween (1978), Night of the Living Dead (1968),The Shining (1980) absolutly fantastic films and well worth a view if you havent seen them.

For me Night of the Living Dead is the best one with such a director like George A. Romero.

oh i dont agree with this list of top horror movies. although, i haven`t seen a couple of movies listed in here, i think there are many others which could have made to the top of the list. for starters, The Ring 1 & The Ring 2 should have been at the top of the list...they were really creepy!! The Omen should also have been included in the top 3!!

Great list. These are all great classic horror movies and I love them all. My fave horror flick is the 1973 academy award winning movie, the "Exorcist"!
