LiveJournal is going on a strike. LJ members are not going to post any content for 24 hours. The strike scheduled on March 21 and starts at 00:00 GMT. LiveJournal members want to restore Basic LJ accounts for new account creation, they want to be informed of any changes before they are made and to abolish censorship of some user's interests. This strike is supposed to show people running LiveJournal that without LJ users, without their content there will be no LiveJournal and they have their own opinions on how LJ should be run. There isn't much time to organize the strike so please spread the word and DON'T use LiveJournal for 24 hours. No content, no comments, no nothing! Here's a schedule for the strike. Good for them. I used to post on Livejournal but then I decided I can also make money from my content and I never looked back. Sure, I don't get as many readers now but now I'm doing what I like and making money at the same time.
