LA Will Pay For Jackson’s Memorial

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa of LA said that they will not be collecting any further donations to help pay off the cost of the memorial for Michael Jackson last Tuesday. He called the city’s website for donation ridiculous. He said LA would pay off the costs as other big cities pay for similar events each and every year. As President Obama was giving a speech a teleprompter crashed to the floor of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building in the White House. Obama was surprised a bit, as were the mayors and other elected officials in the room who just laughed. Michael Jackson Memorial…R.I.P. King of Pop

It was a celebration of sorts. There was his music, his fans, his family and friends all 1 billion plus of them united in the Los Angeles Staples Center and via televisions literally across the world. Among those that performed were Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie, and Usher.Usher had a break down as emotions swirled him over the passing of the King of Pop, but this break down was nothing like that of the daughter, Paris (age 11), that Michael left behind. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as young Paris said her farewell to the King which she and only her brothers knew as just plain dad. See   read more
