Yesterday was Ash Wednesday. The kids went home with ashes on their foreheads. It is indeed the start of Lenten Season. It also means the start of fasting and abstinence. Abstinence from meat is practiced during this season. Catholics practice a NO-NO to overindulgence and extravagance. Sacrifice is the right term. Sacrifice as Jesus did.
