As spring begins,
baseball season
ushers in. My
husband and I are
baseball fanatics,
both rooting for the
Boston Red Sox. But
whenever the Red Sox
fails to get a
chance at the
play-offs, we
discuss the odds and
streaks of any team
competing for the
World Series. We
usually bet on who
is going to win the
game. Though not
wagering money, we
both agree on
whoever wins the
bet, will buy dinner
at any fancy
restaurant of the
winner's
choice.I am so much
aware that there
indeed sports
betting existing
around this country.
In fact, there are
sports betting books
that pervade online.

What could be worse
than a rainy day
without electric
power? Three days
ago, my husband got
a call from work to
go back to bed
because work was
interrupted due to
power outage. It was
of course, good news
to spend another day
at home from a
2-day
weekend.
Westchester
county in New York
and Fairfield county
in Connecticut were
without electricity
because of the
hurricane-like winds
that gushed at those
areas last weekend.
There were more than
a hundred trees that
toppled down causing
road blockage and
electric wires and
poles broken. These
winds were due to
the the typhoon-like
rains

Hi readers,
bloggers, stalkers,
friends and haters,
I want to share this
; At first I was
quite reluctant to
post this because it
might give out an
implication that
I'm paying
attention to this
person and people
would think I'm
so
"affected."
;This person left a
comment on my other
blog, the Praise
blog hosted by
Blogger. She left 2
comments that are so
vile-ful, caustic
and brimming with
vitriol. I wonder
where all that rage
coming from. In
leaving a comment,
she made me a
Blogger account
using my photo and
created a freaking
hilarious
description. I
can't believe a

What do people gab
about regardless of
race, culture, sex
and creed? Most
people talk about
family, friends,
society, politics,
other people,
celebrities and
news. Mass media and
society generally
constitute the
"points of
interest" on
which humans chatter
about anytime and
anywhere. For 15
years, there were
studies on how much
do we talk, and it
was found out that
women talk 3x more
than men. In a most
recent study, it was
discovered that a
woman speaks 20,000
words in an average
day while men only
utters 7,000
words. But
what do we really
talk about?What do
Americans talk about

Once again I was
asked to be a
godparent for a
little angel who was
just born 3 months
ago. This is my 10th
godchild and I am
very honored to be
invited as a
godparent for a
lovely child of my
friend. The
christening is on
Easter Sunday. I
still have a lot
of time to
prepare and shop for
presents perfect for
a baby girl.Now I am
scouring the net for
some wonderful toys
and baby clothes
that I am so excited
to give to my
godchild. I found a
site called Loulous
Corner and they are
selling these
adorable Barefoot
Dreams bear buddie
and blankie. Just
looking at the item

Daylight Saving Time
kicks in, various
time zones to adjust
, and the annoying
Filipino time to
tolerate
with.This
Sunday, March 14th,
clocks in the U.S.
are reset one hour
advanced. This is
the time when
Americans
say, "make time
fast" when they
mean that time is
ahead than normal.
This resetting of
time is necessary
for seasonal
conditions around
America (except for
Arizona and Hawaii),
which we call DST or
Daylight Saving
Time. DST or Summer
Time is the
practice of
"saving
daylight to add more
daylight to
afternoons and
lessen daylight in
the mornings."

March is a very
joyous month for us
just like December.
For one thing,
it's the month
when winter ends and
spring begins.
It's also the
month where we
celebrate our
wedding
anniversary--a very
memorable event that
had signified a
change in my life
and my vision.
It's also the
month where my
husband's 2
younger brothers
mark their
birthdays. The
youngest one
celebrates his
wedding anniversary
with his wife 6 days
after we have ours.
Therefore, it's
a month of
gift-giving too. My
husband was thinking
of giving his
brothers a watch
each. It would be a
nice keepsake for
them to

The days are getting
warmer as we enjoy
temps rising to the
50's. Days like
these signal the
onset of spring and
what comes to mind
when I anticipate
spring's glory?
It is a rising hope
of better things and
days to come. It
also means spring
cleaning, of course.
The past
autumn/winter
seasons left us
behind some litter
and mess that we
could not normally
clean up because of
the freezing
weather. Usually,
when I spring-clean
I start from the
interior of our
house such as drapes
to wash, carpets to
steam, and closets
to organize.
Honestly, I enjoy
doing the chore of
cleaning and
organizing

In about 119
days, we are flying
off to the
Philippines. This is
my husband's
first visit so
we're both
excited for summer.
Not only it means
beaches, fun and
foo, but it
also means a
tropical vacation
that my husband will
experience like no
other. My brothers,
sister, in-laws and
nephews and nieces
are all ecstatic at
the news that
we're coming to
spend our vacation
together with them.
For several months
now I'd been
saving up some money
to buy
pasalubong(homecomin

family and friends
since Filipinos do
expect gifts from
relatives living
abroad. I
