YouSayToo is ringing in 2010 by hosting holiday awards for the 10 coolest blog authors. Nine lucky bloggers will receive fun gifts of their choice and the first place winner will be rewarded with a $1,000 holiday dream gift!

To enter your blog in the awards all you need to do is add it to YouSayToo and write a Dream Gift post on it.

The post must include and be about: When your Dream Gift post is imported your blog will start participating in the awards.
You can enter all your active blogs in the awards by writing Dream Gift posts on all of them.

Already added your blog to YouSayToo? If so you can also participate by writing a Dream Gift post on it.

The same goes for the blogs started at YouSayToo before November 30, 2009. Continue blogging at YouSayToo and write a Dream gift post. Your blog must follow the same rules as added blogs.

What gifts can I win?

First place will receive the $1000 dream gift which was described in the dream gift post.
Nine others will receive fun gifts of their choice (which they mentioned in their dream gift post) from this list.

What blogs can participate in the awards?

All blog content must be in English.
The blog must have content posted before Novermber 30, 2009.
The blog must be regularly updated. Inactive blogs are less likely to be nominated.
The blog and bloggers must not violate YouSayToo's Terms of Use and Awards Rules.

How do I become an awards participant?

1. Register at YouSayToo
2. Add your blog to YouSayToo
3. Write a Dream Gift post on your added blog
4. Your Dream Gift post must be tagged under “YouSayToo awards”. This is very important!
5. Your Dream Gift post must be imported into your YouSayToo blog
6. Your Dream Gift post must remain on your blog until the awards are over

When all above mentioned terms are met you will receive a special banner badge. You can put it on your blog to inform your readers that your blogs needs their support to win.

How will the 30 top blogs be nominated?

YouSayToo will pick 30 top blogs (1 blog per user) with the most interesting dream gift posts and content on February 2, 2010. Your supporters' devotion will also be taken into account.

How will the winners be decided?

The 30 top blogs will be posted on a single page for everyone to see. The voting will begin on February 2, 2010 and last 1 week till February 9, 2010. Ten blogs with the most rating and interesting comments will be the winners.

YouSayToo will announce the winners on February 11, 2010.

How can I support my favorite blogs?

To support your favorite blogs you need to rate and follow them and leave reviews explaining why you like them and why these blogs should win.

How can I get more supporters?

1. Post original and interesting content
2. Support other blogs and your blog will also get support
3. Reach out to your Twitter, FaceBook, MySpace, Hi5 and other social network friends
4. Put the “Support Me” badge on your blog

I started a new blog after November 30, 2009 can it still participate in the awards?
If you are serious about your new blog and create original content, you can definitely take part in our next awards.

Disqualification:

YouSayToo will have the right to disqualify any author for:

- Fake comments;
- Fake rating;
- Violation of or non-compliance with Terms of Use and Awards Rules of YouSayToo.

YouSayToo reserves the right to disqualify any author without explanation.

Awards Terms of Use

1. These rules specify the procedure of getting royalties for top 10 created or added blogs from November 30, 2009 till January 31, 2010.

2. One author shall receive royalties in the form of a their dream gift which the author described in the Dream Gift post. The price of the dream gift described by the author should not exceed USD 1000. Nine authors shall receive royalties in form of fun gifts of their choice which they described/specified in their dream gift posts. Fun gift list

3. One blog per author can compete for royalties.

4. The rules apply to added, created blog and posts that are posted in accordance with the Terms of Use and Awards Rules of YouSayToo, throughout the time period from November 30, 2009 till January 31, 2010.

5. Royalties and shipping costs shall be paid by the marketing company the services of which YouSayToo used to host this give away.

6. The authors entitled to receive royalties, in accordance with these rules, shall be responsible for paying all taxes on the royalties received.

7. The names of authors entitled to receive royalties shall be published at yousaytoo.com no later than February 11, 2010.

8. YouSayToo will send authors, who are entitled to receive royalties, e-mail notifications to their registered e-mail addresses, which they specified in their YouSayToo accounts. The email notification will include a link to the form which the authors will need to fill out in order to receive their royalties.

9. In the form the authors will be asked to fill out the following information: name, last name (surname), home address, PO box (postal code), country, (state), city, tax ID and other information required for the 1099 Misc Form. The authors must fill out the form until March 1, 2010. All those who don't fill out the form until the due date will not receive royalties.

10. The royalties will be shipped from March 1 to March 15, 2010.

11. Royalties will be send to the addresses specified in the forms.

12. If, for any reason, the author who is entitled to receive royalties didn't receive the e-mail notification, this author needs to contact us.

13. YouSayToo will never ask you to pay any collateral in order to claim the royalties. Do not let yourself get fooled by scammers.

14. Awards Terms of Use and Awards Rules are part of YouSayToo Terms of Use.

15. YouSayToo reserves the right to modify or update these Terms Of Use , Awards Terms Of Use at any time as seen fit.
