Asteroid 2011 MD Misses the Earth

2011 MD asteroid a size of a house measured about 16 feet to 35 feet and narrowly misses to contact the earth from threat in recent year took place Monday afternoon but it was earth's closest encounters with an asteroid and is big enough to wipe out a City. The newly discovered asteroid passes our planet within 12,000 kilometers or 7,500 miles from earth the surface and it was daylight in the UK and Ireland (12:30GMT) when asteroid passed over Southern Atlantic Ocean near to the coast of Antarctica.Observable from South Africa and closest approach in southern and eastern Asia like Australia and New Zealand even in western Pacific as well. The said asteroid was first time sighted from a robotic telescope in New Mexico, USA last Wednesday.
