Artist Radar: Valeriya Volkova

Today's artist feature is a little different than normal, but definitely warrants mentioning. Valeriya Volkova is a painter/illustrator based in Brooklyn, NY, who stretches the imagination using brilliant colors and what I can only assume to be some type of sorcery.
I first encountered her work on an imageboard, where I found this pizza pie masterpiece: Click to embiggen. Thankfully, the watermark was still intact, which led me to her homepage, which is filled to the brim with her other similarly impressive works.

Namo - DCM Sampler Vol. 1
Long Beach producer/DJ Namo recently shared this free sampler of some of his tunes with me, instantly converting me into a fan. You have got to love the influences: trip-hop, dub reggae, jazz, and old school hip hop drums blended perfectly into chilled and mellow grooves. Artist Radar: Still Corners
Dream pop? Dream pop. You guys don't want me getting predictable, do you? A London-based, culturally mixed quartet, Still Corners are purveyors of reverie. They're not afraid to lay it on thick, either.
