Appeal after man found with chest wound in Audley Range in the early morning Police are appealing for help after a man was found injured in a Blackburn street.

Officers were called to Temple Drive in the Audley Range area of the town at 6.49am today (Sunday, March 4th) after a report from the ambulance service.

A 37 year old man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Blackburn Hospital with a single minor puncture wound to the chest. His injuries are not life threatening and he is now recovering in hospital. Detectives are now trying to establish how he came by his injury.

Det Sgt Kate Kennedy, from Blackburn CID, said: “We are trying to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident and how this man came to be injured and I would appeal for anyone who has any information to get in touch with us.”
