| I spent all morning trying to find a clip of Bill Bailey doing a bit of Jean Michel Jarre - eventually found it at the end of 'Bewilderness', but it wasn't as good as I remembered (see it here). | Following the new Transformers Movie released earlier this year, the toy figures could be the biggest thing for Christmas 2007. Hasbo has brought out a brand new range of Transformers Toys, most of which will transform from their robot form into a vehicle.The video below combines clips from the film with shots of the toys for the main Autobot characters. My favourite has to be the Ultimate Bumblebee, which looks stunning. It's not cheap though, as it retails for around $100! Don't let your toddler or dog chew on this one!

| Yesterday a man armed with a knife held a baby hostage northeast of Adelaide has surrendered peacefully after a four-hour stand-off. Police negotiators resolved the incident at a house in Berri Road, Hope Valley, shortly before 5pm (CST). The man left the house, handed over the baby and surrendered to police. | A Man armed with a knife is holding a child hostage in a house, northeast of Adelaide. Armed police have surrounded the house in Hope Valley and are negotiating with the man b y phone. Earlier a woman and a baby also were being held in the house but were allowed to leave about four hours after the siege began at 12.30pm (CST). A woman left the house with the baby about 4.30pm (CST) but the man had remained inside with the other child. The relations between the man and the woman are unknown as arethe reason the why did the man take hostages.News

| The chief U.S. nuclear envoy said Monday that he and his North Korean counterpart had reached a limited agreement on the next steps toward the communist country's nuclear disarmament. | We have had quite the fetish with alarm clocks lately and I think Roger Ibars, designer of the Gun-Operated Alarm Clock, hit it right on the head. There isn't a morning that I don't feel like taking out my anger and grumpiness on an innocent being with a little bang bang (not that kind, pervert). Ibars modified an old gaming light gun by adding some tilt sensors and attaching it to an alarm clock.
