Engr. and Mrs. Esmeraldo Caballero of Queens, New York, announce the engagement of their daughter Clarissa Caballero to Wesley Trinidad, son of Dr.Efren and Dr.Ruby Trinidad of Pampanga, Philippines. A December Wedding is planned. Clarissa is currently working as an Accounting Assistant at the Accounts Division of the United Nations in New York City. Wesley is a Physical Therapist who works for Central Medical Services of Westrock in New York.

significant improvement- army denies crisis

The Army denied it had a recruitment problem as it launched a massive new drive. Provisional recruitment figures show 18,448 young men and women enlisted into the regular and territorial army in 2006/07 - meeting 96% of the target.
