project, that will rival the Great Wall of China

Henan Business News report, Chinese people have condemned a project to build a 13-mile long dragon along a mountain ridge outside a city.

In a survey of 50,000 people, 92% strongly opposed the project for "abusing the environment and wasting money".

More than 800 metres of the dragon, made of steel and cement, have already been completed.

It will cost more than £260 million, the finished dragon is to wear 5.6 million scales of jade or gold-coated bronze. People can pay to carve words on the scales, and inside the body there will be trains and clubs. It will be a place for cultural activities and relaxation.

Chimpanzees have a better memory than humans

Scientists at the Kyoto university made to test the memory of chimpanzees. The tests are simple, when you touch the circle, number from 1 to 9 are shown and you need to press on the number in the correct order. The numbers were put behind the square as soon a number 1 is touched. This test was done very accurately by both chimps and human, but it took chimps less time to do it.The second test was harder (as it turned out for humans) Once you push the circle, the numbers appeared for 0.7 seconds. The accuracy of both chimps and humans were about 80%. But when the time changed to 0.4 and 0.2 seconds

Japan is pretty serious about robotics

In a demonstration this week, a humanoid with camera eyes made by Kawada Industries Inc. poured tea from a bottle into a cup. Then another robot on wheels delivered the cup of tea in an experimental room that has sensors embedded in the floor and sofa as well as cameras on the ceiling.Sato believes Japan, a rapidly aging society where more than a fifth of the population is 65 or older, will lead the world in designing robots to care for the elderly, sick and bedridden.Already, monitoring technologies, such as sensors that automatically turn on lights when people enter a room, are becoming widespread
