Amaryllises

At home I have some amaryllises. Don't ask me what kind because I have no idea. I know that one is red and the other is red&white.

They were blooming and I couldn't resist and took some photos

Logos are supposed to be recognizable, simple and they should reflect what your company is about in a unique way. The rules are simple yet somehow some logos look... misleading to the majority of us, sick minded pervs :) Arlington Pediatric Center is famous for its healthcare not for the logo. Catholic Church's Archdiocesan Youth Commission logo pretty much sums up everything we know about catholic priests. London Olympic Games 2012 logo. The design is crappy and vulgar. Giant Earthworms 5
I never thought that earthworms can be so big. Judging from these photos some worms can reach 5-6 feet! That's amazing. Some sources say that giant earthworms can even spit to defend themselves.

K-7 Flying Fortress 3
The bigger the better was the philosophy behind many things created in the beginning of the 20th century. This was also true for aircrafts. In the early 1930s a huge bomber was constructed in the Soviet Union - Kalinin K-7. But as all things big the bomber didn't last very long and after several flights on November 27, 1933 it crashed killing 14 on the plane and one on the ground. 2 more such bombers were ordered but then cancelled before they were built. Not many photos of the k-7 were made...
