I'm looking forward to get a lot of good tips with this post. I'm tired of going through websites, lousy blogs & forums just to be able to convert videos & jailbreak my iphone.

if you want free customized ringtones for your iphone:

go to AUDIKO.NET it's free, online & super fast. you pick an mp3 file, cut the part you want to make into a ringtone & upload it into a format suitable for your iPhone.

if you want to put .avi or .mpg movies on your iPhone:

download iSquint (google it). It's also really fast. it takes me less than 15 minutes to convert a 2h movie. I guess it depends on your connection. you just select the movie you want to convert and drop it into the app. I think it's specifically for Mac Os

if you want to rip a dvd and play it on your iPhone:

download Handbrake (for Mac users). it's fairly fast. when you're done ripping, use iSquint to convert into .mp4 file.

now can anyone tell me how to jailbreak my iPhone, so I can disable the auto-correction feature?

I'd also like to know how to reset my MacBook completely. I want to wipe out the memory & start from scratch.
