What is the rating?

Rating is a post and comments evaluation by yousaytoo.com registered users, based on their own will, likes and dislikes. Evaluation of each post and comment depends on users rating authority. Users rating authority based on a sum of votes received on one's posts and comments and other factors.

What does it cost to use YST?

Nothing. You can register and participate for free. With YST it is quite the opposite, actually. With YST it is very possible to make money.

How our rating system works?

Available votes on post: "+10", "+5", "+1", -5", "-10".
Available votes on comments: "+1", "-1".
Available rating scale "0", "1", "2", "3", "4", "5".

Post evaluation formula: each vote on a post or comment made by yousaytoo.com registered user multiplies on his own rating ( for example: if user has rating "4" and voted on post "+10" his vote is equal "+40").

Please note:
* You can not vote on your own posts or comments and on unregistered users comments.
* Only one vote is available per post and per comment.
* You can not change your vote.
* Unregistered users can not vote on posts and comments.

Can I change my Profile details?

You can change all your account details apart from the username. The username can never be changed.

How can I subscribe to journals, I like?

You can subscribe to a journal you like in two places:

1. When you are reading someone's post you can see subscribe button in your journal navigation. If you subscribe to this user's posts, you will see their posts in your journal.
2. If you liked particular user you can go to their profile and there you will have the option to subscribe to their posts. You can get to a user's profile by clicking on their avatar or username.

Can I submit posts from other sources?

Yes, provided that you name the original source and it is not spam or promotion of your own website. For example, in the end of the post, you can write "From sourcename.com”, or just leave a link in the post. Quite simple and a good idea, too.

Can I post links to sites with my affiliate ID?

Yes, if products that are being sold on the posted site are legal, not related to pharmacia, adult, or gambling. Sites like Thinkgeek, YOOX, and alike are fine for both of us. Think about your popularity first and please do not spam our community.

Does Revenue Sharing Violate Google's TOS?

Currently, these types of sites do not violate Google's policy. As long as sites are not showing ads from multiple Adsense accounts on a single page, there is no problem with revenue sharing. (Google Adsense - Program Policies)

How can I earn money on YST? How does it work?

YouSayToo offers advertising space for displaying Google Ads.

If you indicate to us your Google Adsense ID account or Adsense ID channel in your profile, then you will have the right to use the advertising fields. 50% of the advertisements displayed by Google Adsense at YouSayToo.com belong to us and the other 50% of the advertisements displayed by Google Adsense are divided among users who have a rating of 2+ and an Adsense ID account or an Adsense ID channel.

If your rating falls lower than 2+, then your Google Adsense ID account or Google Adsense Channel ID stop participating in ad rotation.

Don't forget - Registered users should indicate their AdSenseID or Adsense ID Channels in their Profile.

Do links in my post get indexed by search engines?

Yes, links in your post get indexed by search engines, but, links in your profile do not get indexed.

How does a registered user differ from unregistered user?

YouSayToo gives the opportunity for a registered user to show themselves and to share their points of view about relevant news, events, developments and actions happening in the world.

Registered users can write posts about what they are interested in, rate the posts of other users, communicate with others, meet and make new friends, correspond, keep photos and pictures in their gallery, customize their journal, among other benefits of a registered user.

An unregistered user can only observe our community by reading and occasionally leaving comments on YST.

How can I find posts, friends or tags that I am interested in?

You can find tags and posts by searching and pressing the journal button. Find friends by pressing the friends button.

What about Google TOS, for example "Clicking on own ads"?

System works so that you never see ads with your Adsense ID, of course while you are logged-in.

Why do you have to have my AdSense ID or Adsense Channel ID?

YouSayToo.com needs this information, so Google can generate ads with your AdSense ID or Adsense ID Channel.
