Two weeks ago 4 white lion cub were born in the wildlife zoo in Schloss-Holte Stukenbrock, German. The mother rejected 3 of the cubs who are now being hand-fed by the zookeepers. Sadly the 4-th cubs didn't live long.

In the wild white lions are very rare. In captivity however is another story. At about the same time another lioness gave birth to white cubs in another German zoo. Fortunately she is taking care of the litter herself.
