Maeuschen is a 40-year-old Asian bear who lives at the Berlin Zoo. 8 years ago the bear became friends with a black cat and since that day they have been together.

Last October the pair was separated when the bear's living space was enlarged. The bear was put in a cage but the cat was sitting outside of the cage pining for her friends. So the keepers allowed the cat to enter the cage.

The cat, Muschi has a fan website mostly among the visitors of the zoo.
