A black bear was tranquilized when it was found wondering in the a Florida's beachfront neighbourhood.

The bear got in the water after it was hit by the tranquilizer dark. Wildlife officer Adam Warwick jumped in after the bear because the drug was taking effect and the beak could drown.

Mr Warwick managed to get the beak back to the shore.

The bear recovered and was released into a state national forest and Mr Warwick got some minor scratches from the distressed bear.
