Iranian troglodyte city

Kandovan village is well known for its exquisite rocky architecture which is made by volcanic activities. The inhabitants have managed to carve their houses out of the huge rocks; that is to carve kitchen, hall, and pen out of stone and to make windows for the rooms and later, to decorate them with colorful glasses. In one word, the village structure is incredibly beautiful. Kandovan is home to 670 people whose main occupations are agriculture and animal husbandry. It is believed that people who were fleeing from Mongol invaders first came to this village for refuge and then settled here for good.

Driving in the metro lines

This crazy driver went through the metro lines in Portugal. It was registered by the security cameras but it seams that he wasn't catched by police.

Hell on earth

There are places on our planet, which literally resemble hell on earth a place that you’d think was conceived by minds of apocalyptic science fiction writers… but is however quite real… A place, closed off to the tourists, a place where no photographers are allowed to go… and those that do, get their cameras taken away and arrested by the police….. Today we shall travel to India, Chittagong. Chittagong has a territory of 144 000 ΠΊΠΌ² and population of 144 million people. Several beaches around the area bear strange ships, parked in sand as seen from space: [link]

I love caves and I love architecture that do not change nature, but naturally get along with it. And that is a perfect example.

I've been in caves several times. The last time was a year ago. The weather was really hot but when we entered the caves it's was very cool inside. The temperature was about +4C. The last thing i wanted was to go outside again :)

Caving is one of my favorite activities, but it is not easy for my wife as she is suffering from claustofobia. If the cave is not spacy enough, she does not feel comfortable there.

I don't think I would do caving nowadays.. I also don't feel confortable in closed spaces where we don't know how to get out of there easily.. :)

There are not many "undeveloped" caves in the developed World. Here, almost all caves have light, guides, rails, etc... Not my style!

Up to the certain extent. All adventure travel is about adrenaline boost. I had some friends who did not returnd from the climbing vacation: they died under avalanche. I prefer to get to the point when I still in control (or, at least, I think so).

es, adrenaline is a kind of a drug.

It is a most powerful stimulator to get out of bed...

knowing when to stop is crucial. I've seen many programs about mountain climbers who survived because they had enough courage to stop and return to camp instead of pushing forward.

Two years ago, during downhill skiing, my wife flew so far, that when I was chasing her ambulans on my car, I thought... really scared. In hospital at the moment were more than 20 skiers, and most of them were hurt really bad. My wife's case was the easy one, as turned out. But seeing all these people made me so uneasy. However, we did not drop skiing. It is true, that I will never go to the hill, when I see the dangerous conditions (ice, stones, etc.). But everything can happen.
People that make adventurous sports are addicted to them. When they are in the normal life, they feel bored and depressed. And they always go again. Not always come back.

that's right. we can't live without some adrenaline.. even if we know the risks.

The most dangerous in the modern world is driving a car.

when I was youn I searched some caves near my city. We were so crazy that we were more or less 12 into a very small cave where we had to enter by a very tight tunel only large enough for our body, one at a time, just to enjoy sitting in the dark and have a look to a dog skeleton. The cave was very near an industry of stone extraction an they were dynamiting all day. We never thought that "our cave" could collapse!
When we are teens we just think we are immortal!

Don't you think you are immortal any more? It is your mistake. There are so many reincarnations...

do you believe in reincarnation? I can't..

The caves I've been to were just narrow tunnels in a hill, so people who are afraid if tight spaces would definitely not feel good in there.
