This is a cool list of the 20 best places to live in the world, but it is pretty sad that the US only made it onto the list at the twenty spot with Hawaii (I think tropical places should have been excluded). But we are considered the largest and richest country in the world, why is it that we don't have any cities that are considered some of the greatest cities in the world? I will tell you, white flight to the suburbs drained the city of culutre, wealth and education and all was left was the under funded public systems ready to collapse with no investment in them. Finally it seems that people are starting to return to cities like San Francisco, Chicago and Portland. But it will be a long time until we are at the leave of say, a Munich Germany. One can only hope.
