United Russia has got 64% of seats in the State Duma. The Communist party got 11.6% , Liberal party got 8.2% and Fair Russia got 7.8%. The rest seven parties didn't cross the 7% barrier.

European observers (OSCE) say executive branch acted as though it partially elected the parliament.

According to the Central Executive Committee no information about any violations from the European observers were presented.

Not long from now Russia will hold presidential election. On the 17 December Parties will put forward their candidates.
