Gaza city has plunged into darkness after the power plant was shutdown on Sunday three days after the Israeli fuel blockade. Now 1.5 million Palestinians in Gaza are struggling to cope with power cuts. Hospitals are now on emergency power but it won't hold for long. Patients who need operation and newborn babies in the maternity wards are at risk.
Lack of power also affected the bakeries, many has stopped production because they have no power or flour. Pita beard is the main part of Gaza residents' diet. People are eating less meat and dairy products since there's no power for refrigerators. The price on meat has double in 10 days.
Israeli foreign minister said the diversion of fuel from domestic power generator to other uses was wholly a Hamas decision. While Gaza remains in the dark Hamas rocket manufacturing remains undisrupted. Hamas claim the humanitarian crisis is greatly exaggerated.
The UN criticize Israel's move, saying it should not collectively punish Gaza's population while responding to security threats.
Israel also criticized the UN saying they should condemn the Palestinians' rocket attacks.

Such as mess, and Israel is only shooting itself in the foot. They do nothing to get the Palestinian populace on their side - those little kids will grow up resenting Israel because of acts like this, and then will join groups like Hamas
