President Bush's national security adviser Frances Townsend called Bin Laden a "virtually impotent".
"This is a man on the run in a cave who is virtually impotent other than his ability to get these messages out," she added Sunday on CNN's "Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer."She also calleb the tape, which came up last week, "propoganda"
She said the the U.S. is taking the tape "very seriously" however Bin Laden has never used a tape to "trigger any operational activity" and "no specific or credible information right now about an imminent attack."
"And we continue to make sure that the information is being shared not only with our agencies overseas, but our investigative agencies here at home like the FBI and local police departments."
She was referring to the arrests of suspects in Germany who were planning an alleged terror plot aimed at U.S. military installations and other Western targets. Also last week in Denmark, authorities arrested eight people who were planning attacks.
