Took some time to get the hang of this face-book place, and now I see it as a major tool to network and keep in touch with friends and family! Meet new people with the same interests- Share my ideas - blogs - websites and what my passions are - Now I find myself posting and sharing all the time - Tie it in with my twitter - my blog sites - my google reader - all this and I just connect via the web - and not even thru my cell phone! Scary!! - What I love to do is archive photos and video - make DVD movies - edit - Do all sorts of crafts - sewing is and always has been my vice! Fabric Arts I believe they call it! I am embarrassed with the collection of fabric stashes I have - and my list of to do's grows longer than the life time I have lived or can live - sorry I am a stuff person - it is just that way! I love knowledge and learning as much new experiences as I can. I am and have been in recovery since 2002 - one of those stubborn ones - thru my road of recovery - I ended up hurting people - mostly my family - whom I cherish and love till my last breath - which I pray will be a long time yet- I believe that I just did not raise enough cain the first 50 years of my life so I am going to the last 50! BUT with Elegance, intelligence and wisdom - and with great guidance from my spirit helpers! "Life is a journey - not to arrive at the grave - safely in a well preserved body - but rather to skid in sideways totally worn out - and shouting "holy shit - What a ride" I darn near arrived to the grave several times to early - I have avoided a liver transplant - which I was told to have in 2002- and with the help of many people - a lot of prayer and support from those people who came into my life at the very time when the God the Creator decided I needed them - I have survived! I have learned and I am living - I am passionate about what our elders - our great grandparents, our ancestors - wanted us to learn and to know - how to live with Mother Earth - not off of Mother Earth- with the utmost respect for Mother Earth and Each other as human beings - first and foremost - to respect all LIFE - there are traditional ways that are ingrained in all of us and we just need to recognize them - welcome them and embrace them! I believe in sobriety - living a life drug and alcohol free - but for what ever reason there are THOSE OF US - that are chosen to walk a road or a path - at some point in our lives - to learn and to live and then teach and share - in order to help others in the future. I love to go out in the woods when the weather is nice - and embrace all that God the Creator has given us thru Mother Earth - learn what she has to teach me at that time I truly believe that Northern Minnesota is a slice of heaven - despite the cold seasonal weather! I know that many will argue with me - Especially my friends from the south! But I am not one that likes the hot hot heat - and I do dislike the humidity we get bless with up here.
