Millions of people use them every day but have you ever wondered how they are made? Here are some photos from a condom factory that makes 17 million condoms a year.
The production starts from latex. The long tubes are dipped into the latex to make a form, then as the line moves forward the extra latex drips off and the forms are dried. In order make ultra thin condoms the line moves slower so more latex can drip off. Then the forms are dipped into latex again. Afterwards small brushes curl up the ring. Then the condoms go into the vulcanizing chamber where they get their milky color. In order for the latex to come off the glass tube the condoms are put in a solution with NH3. Then condoms are taken off the glass tune by brushes and jets of water.
Then they are put in a big washing machine where they are washed. A powder is added to prevent the condoms from sticking to each other. Afterwards they are dried again.
Now that's what I call a good paint job. If you want your ride to looks different and attract attention just painting something like this on the hood or side. Some of these are just outstanding.
Strange process lol. I must say i've never really wondered how they make condoms...but now I know
