The US Department of Homeland Security is not meeting its goals. If yesterday's explosion in Times Square does not convince you, then maybe this latest news story will. But is it really that much of a stretch? Do you feel safer today America? I don't know about the rest of you but I think nothing has changed since 9/11 except everyone is scared, the government has been spying on us and oil spirals ever higher .More of the same stumbling and bumbling through history, answers right in front of our faces yet we are paralyzed by a corrupt government full of impotent bureaucrats more worried about job security than saving the nation. Huge empty promises from the Bush administration is nothing new - take a look at every State of the Union since 2000- but the one thing you would think his cronies would take seriously, Homeland Security is a pathetic as Bush's economy or his grip on reality.
