Maybe it's the new bunker but I'm just not that Angry these days. But I did want to put my 2 cents in the Polygamist Sect controversy. Need any more proof that people are sheep?Do these women ever wonder why their husbands can dress like the rest of us, but they have to dress like Little House on the Prarie ? And I suppose the fact that they are marrying girls too young to know any better answers my own question.And while I'm on the topic of sects and cults - Why don't we see more of these groups headed by women? Hell if David Koresh could convince Branch Davidians that he was Jesus, why can't some crazy lady convince a group that she is the Virgin Mary? It was sect called "White Brotherhood" in Kiev, Ukraine, officially led by Mary Jesus Christos. The direction of this sect was not sexual however, but more moneymaking for the sect leaders.
One more thing, not far ago, in Utah, there were a lot of mormons that officially practiced polygamy. They were so devoted to their religion, that women might go to court and demand devorce if her husband is refusing to take another wife. Only far more superior US Army was able to military enforce the puritan laws and put into prison everybody who did not comply.

Historically, polygamy was supported by economic conditions, when female were not able make independent living. Now, the economic conditions in the developed countries lost the significance.
