Hey remember last week when NBC was "going green" and telling us how to live without wasting energy or burning fossil fuels? What a difference a week makes - now that they have relaunched " Where in the World is Matt Laurer ?" and are dragging the host across the world in a haze of jet fuel emissions.Not only is NBC (owned by GE) making itself the world's biggest hypocrite when it comes to the environment, they are sending Matt Laurer in the LEAST fuel efficient manner in order to keep the viewers guessing. Each stop is about as far away as possible from the last visit - didn't we just hear that the airlines are buckling under the price of jet fuel? These corporations have a lot of nerve telling us we have to save the environment when Matt Laurer and his crew can spend millions and waste uncountable kilowatts in just one week so I have something to watch while I drink my organic-grown fair-trade coffee.The next time NBC tries to tell you how to live green and then shuts the lights off in their studio to guilt you into thinking about the environment - write those asshole GE executives a nasty email.
