Is It Too Late to Stop World-Wide Food Shortages?

This is not the first time I've posted on food shortages , and judging from this video it won't be my last either. In fact I've been ranting about this for a few years now and some agree, but some of my more affluent fellow Americans think it's not a big deal, or that I'm not shopping in the right place.Think back a couple of years - how much has your favorite pizza gone up in price? I know it has to be at least a dollar more, now that cheese has more than doubled since then. And how about if you want your pizza delivered? You don't think they've been adding a surcharge to compensate for the gas prices? You know that by the time this stuff reached the news outlets, it's already a full-blown issue. Just look how long it took CNN and the others to start making the weak dollar a news story-you would think this is only a year-old crisis, when it's been going on since Bush took office. So by the time cable news reports on the realities of world food shortages, you can be sure it will be too late for many.

Of course CNN haven't wrote about it because it wasn't news at that time. Now it became news because prices are going up and people are starting to worry about it

You should not be concerned with CNN writing about stuff when it's too late. CNN sucks and it should be an example of how bad reporting works.
