Is this story the beginning of what could be a scary future for America? Are we soon to be a nation that has to wait in line for food? Well I may be a little alarmist but when the big wholesale stores start limiting how much rice you can buy, I think it's time to start stockpiling the canned goods - while you still can.A few generations ago, the American public were strong, determined and hardy enough to weather this kind of storm - hell they survived the Great Depression, the DustBowl and WWII one after another. Today our nation of fat people, medicated, hyperactive kids and seniors that cannot afford their pills would not be able to withstand such calamities.This ain't your grandma's America - the only thing our America knows how to do in a crisis is to sue somebody or push the reset button on the XBox 360.
They made limits so everyone would be able to buy rice.
I don't think America will be waiting in lines for food (unless everybody decides to buy black caviar) there is a shortage of rice everywhere but everything else is still available.
ahhh but is it? It starts with rice, flour is next - some local places have already done it. And now that our corn is used for fuel, something has got to give...
