Well if they were able to find enough work this past year then they will get Bush's vaunted rebate , keeping them out of the gutter for a couple of weeks. But what of those that are unemployed or under-employed? What about the partially disabled too hurt to work but too healthy to collect, or those whose unemployment benefits already ran out (and no longer show up in job figures)?Take my word for it - you are going to see more of this if nothing is done about the economy. The arrival of warm weather will help poor people in colder regions save some money, which they will need next winter when oil costs even more. Hey remember last week when NBC was "going green" and telling us how to live without wasting energy or burning fossil fuels?
