2013 Mazda CX-5 Full Suite with Price Details
Mazda has released pricing details for its full suite of 2013 CX-5 compact crossovers installed with the company’s breakthrough SkyActiv Technologies which feature impressive fuel economy, dynamic handling and performance.
The base model with SkyActiv-MT 6-speed manual transmission comes standard with the following:
- Sport trim
- 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels wrapped with 225/65R17 Yokohama all-season tires
- Daytime running lights (DRL)
- Power side view mirrors
- Automatic headlight shutoff
- Body-colored outside mirrors with turn lamps
- Door handles
- A roof spoiler
- color-keyed shark fin antenna
- Black or Sand Beigh cloth seating
- Push-button start
- Power windows with driver’s side one-touch auto open/close
- Cruise control
- Tilt and telescopic steering wheel
- Steering-wheel-mounted audio
- Cruise control functions
- Air conditioning
- Four-speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3-compatible radio with Automatic Level Control (ALC) as well as auxiliary and USB connection ports
All of these come standard with price starting at $20,695.
While for the 2013 CX-5 Sport model with SkyActiv-Drive 6-speed automatic transmission, price starts at $22,095. It is available in all-wheel-drive for $23,345. Aside from the standard features buyers can avail a $400 Bluetooth Audio Package which includes hands-free phone and audio connectivity and a 5.8 inch touchscreen display along with HD Radio Technology.
Much more features comes with the 2013 Mazda CX-5 Touring model which not only get all the above as standard but also include the following:
- Fog lamps
- Upgraded cloth seats
- Six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat
- Rearview camera
- Upgraded 6-speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3-compatible radio
- Leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob
- Steering- wheel-mounted audio

For $1,130, buyers can add a Moonroof/Bose and Technology Package for their Touring. The package includes a 9-speaker Bose Centerpoint sound system, a moonroof, in-dash TomTom navigation, an auto-dimming mirror with Homelink, automatic on/off bi-xenon auto-leveling headlights, a pivoting Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS), rain-sensing windshield wipers, an anti-theft alarm and Sirius Satellite Radio.
SKYACTIV-Drive automatic becomes standard on Touring models with prices start at $23,895 for the front-wheel-drive and $25,145 for the all-wheel-drive.
Lastly, Mazda summed up all the features stated above with their 2013 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring with the addition of 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels, leather heated front seats, and an 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat. Buyers can also add a Technology package for $1,325 comprising a TomTom navigation, adaptive bi-xenon headlamps and Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry. Prices for the 2013 Mazda CX-5 start at $27,045 for the front-wheel-drive and $28,295 for the all-wheel-drive.
The 2013 Mazda CX-5 comes with a 2.0L 4r-cylinder engine that delivers 155 hp and 150 lb-ft of torque. EPA rated fuel-economy comes in at 26/35 mpg (city/highway).
