Since I haven't been here in quite a long time, I failed to greet my blogging friends. But we are just on its first quarter, so I hope it would still make sense to say: Happy New Year guys! I wish you're all surrounded by positive vibes as you welcome this new year because I do. The recent year had been great for me and my family. So much fun memories to remember. I am forever thankful to God! Last quarter of 2010 was filled with blessings which has brought us optimism that this year would be so much better. I hope. So many goals were set. And I'm on my way on reaching them one by one.

Kids Trick-or-Treat 2010
I hope this post is not so late for The Halloween. I've been dead busy these past few weeks and will still be for the next two months. Christmas bazaar has started in our village in the midst of October, therefore I and my sis rented a food stall. 24 hours a day seem not enough for all the things that need to be done. Rizal Shrine

A Mom's Sore Feet
Julianna and I went out for a school Field trip last week, before her birthday. School assembly started at six in the morning and reached home at past nine in the evening. It was extra-exhausting than our past trips. It was scorching hot that noon with occasional rain showers, which only made the day even hotter. Dora Themed Party
My daughter Julianna recently celebrated her fifth birthday. We held the party at school. She wanted a Dora themed party — and so I bought every Dora character I could find. I never thought it wouldn't be that easy. I wasn't able to find each of the items in one shop. I had to go from one store to another. Anyway, here's the invitation. DIY: Paint Stencil
My sister-in-law renovated her room. She began by painting the walls light bluish gray. She asked me to make her a maple leaf paint stencil since she knew I've done it quite a few times. The resourcefulness in me; I looked for a sturdy material out of plastic. Luckily, I found an old and unused clear book. I cut a part of the front cover, and sketched the maple leaf. I had to google for some images since I can't draw well without reference. After sketching, I carefully cut it by using a blade cutter. The Best Palabok in Town
It was my mother-in-law's birthday last week. My pot luck dish was Palabok—a noodle dish topped with variety of ingredients. I also baked a chocolate cake for her. In between, coming back and forth to take and fetch my kids at school. I was still able to finish everything on time. It was my first time to cook this noodle dish.
